Then it is textured by lightly veining it's surface. then it is filed and sanded to take off those nasty sharp edges before it is given a heat process to bring out the colors you see in its finish. Then it is formed to shape with holes drilled to accommodate the pin. Works wonderfully for smaller bunches of hair.
